2006

Looking back sometime, I feel that this was most uneventful year of my life. Then again I think that it was exciting, mysterious and happening year. First thought may be because of the fact that there was nothing good that is long lasting, happened to me that I was expecting. However I know that I learned a lot about life and people in this year.

What can I say about the first six months, there was wait, wait and more wait. A mystery that will never be solved, happy moments that I could never enjoy, a dream that was screwed, a smile I never got, few words I could never speak, a face I will never see again. As I had written in one of my short stories, " Some stories dont have ends, forget about happy ends. Some stories finish unfinished."

Miracles happen, unfortunately Miraculous things dont last long. You think that you found something that you were looking for long without any hopes. Then before realising anything it will be lost forever.

There are people, want to challenge you when you are not even interested in playing any games. Then there are grown up brainless kids. Its really difficult to deal with ego driven people.

Friends are there always to help you in any kind of trouble you are in. I think friends make best part of my life.

I have decided to go in to new year without any expectation or hopes. I want to have a motto like that group , "Dont Expect and Be Surprised"

Sudoku Solver !

I always wanted to develope a sudoku solver. I worked on a basic Sudoku SOlver. This is not a intellegent solver, it works on elimination method. I would like to add some decision making parameters.

I dont know how to go about this but there are many ppl who have done excellent work in sudoku coding.

Shane Warne Announces Retirement Plans ! End of Era

Shane Warne, One of the most charismatic player cricketing world has seen announced his retirement plans. It was reported that he will be retiring from cricket at the end of Ashes , that means two more matches to go. Hope he will get historic one wicket to take his tally to 700 international test wickets. The news is sad but everyone retires at some point of time.

Marred by many controversies off field, he was certainly a gentleman on the field. He was a entertainer. I think only thing that eluded him was to be successful in India and I am happy for that :-).

I think bowler who bowled ball of the century will always remain as shining star in cricketing galaxy. I guess everyone will miss him.

Something to Cheer !

Finally something to cheer for Indian cricket fans, I think this is India’s first test victory on south African soil. This victory came when no one even in there wildest dream imagined that India can win. As it is always said about cricket, ''Cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties".

As expected Indian batting was screwed on day one, but to my surprise ( as I expected) sourav Ganguly batted really well for his 51. India managed to score 249 /10. Everyone was saying now its up to kumble to exploit the widening cracks on the pitch. But first inning bowling belonged to sreesanth, who got his first 5 wicket hall.

Saffies were killed for 84 in first innings, there was a big hope for India to win the game. Today with fall of last south African wicket, celebration began. It was a spirited performance by India, Hope Indian team can continue momentum for the tour and world cup.

Sometimes I wonder why Indian movies are famous in places like germany, indonesia, malaysia and african countries. In subcontinent, in general life style is very much simillar.So popularity with these audiance is not exactly something that amazes me.

But popularity of hindi cinema in germany and some other europian countries really amazes me. I think socially, culturally we are poles apart but again hollywood movies are popular in India. May be it's because Indian movies deals mainly with the simple life problems , love etc and not with complicated algebric equations, antique theories , scientific manipulation as in case of holiwood movies.

When I heard about this phenomenon for the first time I thought it must be because of Indian disepora in europe but the locals also enjoy indian flicks.

Brainless Kids !

There you go ! time and again one has to deal grown up brainless kids. Its really difficult to deal with such kids but they will come from every direction .... one needs to teach them a lesson. One more Cricket Contraversy !

This is not exactly a contraversy but still can be viewd as one. This happened in 1st test match between NZ ans SL at christchurch. Kumar Sangakara scored a single and completed his century. Murli went to congratulate him, the bowl was not dead yet, Mcllum stumped and appealed, umpire gave murli run out.

SL point is, this action is against spirit of the game , while NZ says its perfectly OK and its a mistake of murali.

I am with SL, run out appeal is strictly against spirit of the game.

Relax ...

I dont know why but after a long time I am having a relaxing feeling today. Nothing really happened, but I am feeling better and charged today. One more call I got yesterday, hoping to crack it. I guess in coming day I will have a few option to choose from, which is what I guess I was looking for.

England Managed to loose a test match after playing so well for four days. Full credit to Australia, you can hate them but you have to accept that they are the best team of the present lot. Somehow I feel that English think tank is brainless. It just dont make any sense in keeping out your wicket taking bowler for a bowler who cannot bowl positive line. I dont think english can recover.

Drug Ban
PCB removed ban on asif and akthar for taking banned substances. I feel this is a good decision. In cricket drugs just dont help. The prominent effcts are visible in atheletics but drugs of no use to cricketer. It can make you fit (I guess) but wont help your cricket.

INDIA's SA Tour
Best part of india's tour for cricket teams and fans is on now, since there are no matches for another 5-6 days. I hope they will play ganguly in the tests. But I see a defeat at the hands of Saffis for india. No hope case really.

Things like today

It was not a decision taken in spur of the moment. I know I am screwed but that doesn’t mean I am a electric pole. If you dont value my time then go to hell. I had given them enough time. If they had any such urgent work , they should have called me and asked to rearrange my plans. It was as simple as that. Any ways this is case number 3. I dont know why but somehow i am missing everyone who were close to me. I am really feeling alone. Generally i dont pray, but i want to pray today. Another bloody weekend will end in another 5 hours. Life in general and weeked to be specific, is really boring when your friends are not with you. Personel life is screwed, professional life is screwed, mobile had some problems, indian team cannot win a match, sachin's failures everythinhg is just messed up. To make things worse, ponting and lara scoring centuries like anything. Sachin's record is under threat.

I know my personel and professional lives are totally screwed up but i hope atleast sachin will be able to save his record and will score atleast 2-3 centuries in the coming serise against SA.

There is this divorce case in progress. Judge asks the child with whoem he would like to go mother or father. child says mother beats him, so he dont want to go with her. Then he say my father beats me, so i dont want to go with him either. Everyone was puzzled. Judge thinks about something and then laughs. His verdict was send the child to the indian cricket team because they cannot beat any one.

Decision !

I have to take a decision. I dont know what it will be and about what but I have to do it now. Since last 2-3 three years every decision that i took screwed me badly. I thought let the highest power take a decision for me, but i think he is too busy with problems in world. I have to take a decision .... thats it ....

Sidhu in Trouble!

The Herculean Indian batsman, commentator , comedy show host and member of parliament seems to be in trouble. He was always a popular cricketer /batsman because of his attacking style of play. When he was first charge sheeted in the case (1988), I thought his career is over and he is finished. Some how as far as I remember he was freed of the charges. But suddenly rediff reported today that Punjab HC convicted him for the murder. Sidhu’s fate will be decided on coming Wednesday. I dont know what to say.

Return of the prince

After working relentlessly for promotion of youngsters for future program, brainwashed Indian think tank now realised that they need balance of youth and experience to succeed at the highest level. Today squad for SA test series was announced and as expected they preferred experience over young exuberance. There is nothing wrong in trying a few youngsters but a team fully of youngsters shows bankruptcy.

Any ways VVS and gangu are back in the test squad. I am not sure with chappel still there, gangu can make in to playing eleven or not. They also made VVS vice captain of the team, whether this is some kind of indication to sehwag that if he dont perform, he will also loose the permanent position in playing eleven.

Something for me

I had written it a few days back.

I always use to think that i am the only one in this world who likes me. No sympathies required, it did not bother me for a moment. Any ways after years she came and she said she likes me. I thought it cann't be true. I asked her again, she said yes she likes me. Then i thought everyone once in a while makes a big wrong decision, and now it's her turn.

Violence for any reason some how becoming a trade mark for indian democracy. We are having new age indian politicians with there new philosophies to secure vote. Its amazing how some parties win elections consistently without ever talking about something that is constructive. It seems to me that you have to divide people based on region, religon or any such emotional issues to win election in india.

Again a statue was disfigured in one part of india by may be hoolingans, anti social elements or people with some real bad motives. What ever may be the motivation , the statue was disfigured. A wide spread protest sarted with rioting. Sometimes I wonder what message exactly these rioters want to convey. I feel except there leaders interviewed by all these junk channels and some cheap publicity for the rioters leader nothing fruitful really comes out of this excercise of setting fire to shops and vehicles of those who are no way realted to disfigurement episode.

Politicians now a days have developed new version of gandhigiri where you will have hartal but will ask everyone to stop doing what they are doing forcefully. They have replace 'Ahinsa' with 'HINSA' in bold letters.

There is something very basic that seems to be flawed here, either the society or may be political philosophy. The problem demands immediate identification and correction.

Indian Cricket team in SA

One more lose. One more serise lose. As expected there was big indian batting flop show. Most irretating part is that they are playing Dinesh Karthik, what the hell, why do they need a extra keeper when there batting is already screwed up. Is this some kind of a experiment. They should be looking for some good batsman.

Zaheer bowled superbly, he has lost lot of weight, he got back his fire power. He should play for now consistently in the team (no experiments in this regard). Pathan seems to be finding his rythem, again a long way to go before he starts firing (hopefully before WC). I think the fighter kumble should be there in ODI's as well. Bhajji seems to be a lot more inconsistent now a days. Then you got Agarkar (real All rounder) who will always be there in the side no matter how pathetic his performance is. Then we need to choose between sreesant, munaf and RP. I think one should go for munaf rather than sreesanth.

As far as batting is concerened it is screwed big time. Not even a single batsman is in firing mode. Everyone is still warming up with the exception of SRT. Indian team missing the sehwag's starts and the reliable Yuvraj in middle order. Rahul is going through a real dry now a days. There is no need to talk about any other batsman with exception of may be dhoni. Dhoni played well and consistently as compared to some other batsmans.

Now there is a talk going arround that gaonguly will be recalled for test. I say make him captain, his aggresion might fire the team. India needs a motivating, aggressive captain in this situation, dravid just dont fit the bill in such circumstances.

Frustoo group

While talking to guru he told me that frustoo group on yahoo is not working properly. This problem needs to be solved. As that is the only way all frustoos can contact each other. Also as the year end is coming FNN Yearly needs to be published and we all have to work that extra hard to get the best yearly.

Hope this time there will be a few more who will contribute to the magzine rather than the suspected few.

Guru in India

I talked to him today. He is someone who can never change. I still remember the time we had during those dinner sessions with all the frustoo's. He was certainly the best amongst the contempory frustoos. He was always upbeat no matter what is the situation.

Planning to meet him , but dont know if i can make it. besides that i dont know exactly how long he will be here.

Afte a long wait, I could see the light at the end of tunnel however unlike sidhu (The great Navjot Sidhu and not Frustoo Sidhu) i dont want that light is coming from a train thats going to run over me.
I guess next two three weeks will be very crucial and there will certainly be good results. FIngers crossed and hoping for the best

There was a interesting article on rediff today, it said SRK will replace BIG B on KBC. SRK may be a popular star but its difficult to replace BIG B that to in KBC where the comparision are inevitable and SRK will be screwed big time by media, thats my guess.

Indian Cricket Team

India again lost one more match. Now a days this should not be considered as a breaking news. They are loosing matches more fluently than any other cricket team.

I guess too much experimentation is to be blamed for this. This experimentation crap has just unsettled team. Pathan dont know how to bowl and he cannt bat any more, middle order is in complete chaos. Yes, you need back up players, you need youngsters however you can never ignore the experiance. You need the right balance of experiance and young blood. Its foolish and torchrous to ask a youngster to lead (bowling). In cricket experiance always counts.

To certain extent I feel failures of sehwag with bat and pathan with bowl have really affected team. India needs a powerful vicoty to revive the fortunes. With world cup less than six months, they need to settle and fire asap.

One Night at Call Center

After reading Five point someone I wanted to read One Night at Call Center. The book did not disappoint me. Theme is certainly simillar to the first one except first book dealt with how not to behave in IIT (during education) where as this book dealt with the approach one should have or rather should not have in professional life.

Again the charectars are really well defined. Story is gripping and the parallals that he finds are amazing. Chetan Bhagat again comes as a winner.

I guess there are more number of sachin critics than his followers/ fans. There seems to be no apparant reason but the bankrupt brains for this phenomenon. Blogging seems to be a interesting concept. I used to write all those thoughts, events , situation. SO my next plan is to add some of the more relevent articles things that i have written to this blog.

My take on Catch-22.

For me catch –22 basically explain the type of people in this world. To start with humans are of two types i.e. SANE and INSANE.

Most of the humans in this world, who are supposed to be SANE are in fact INSANE. They make almost 90% of worlds human population and they are used by 7-8% of SANE people whom they call INSANE. With such a large number at their disposal, these INSANE people should rule the world but there is a catch INSANE people cant rule. These people accept the rules as they are and never question the necessity of these rules. Any one with brains, any one willing to think, any one willing to challenge the establishments for oppressive rules is enemy to them.
SANE human’s can be of following types,

• Innocent (Yossarian)
• Leaders (Colonel Cathecart)
• Businessmen (Milo Minderbinder)
• With Lots of Brains (Orr)

Innocent SANEs, they are the most courageous, righteous people. They know that something is seriously wrong around them, they question the obscure rules but they never realize that INSANE humans surround them. They are revolutionary kind of humans who want seriously to do something that is good for them without knowing what to do and how to do it.

Leader SANEs are most useless of SANE humans. They are of no use to any one, neither they do any thing good for themselves or for any one else. They are basically good for nothing. They know that most others around them are INSANE and they want to utilize the conditions for there good but end up screwing everyone without doing any thing good for themselves.
Businessmen SANEs, they are the most successful of all kinds of humans. They know that most humans arround them are INSANE and those who are not, they know how to make them. They are manipulative, shrewd and know exactly how to fool others for personnel profit. They rule the world, proxy way. They are mainly afraid of innocent SANEs.

SANE with lots of brain, always play in background, never allowing others to know what they are thinking or doing. They behave in such a ways that everyone thinks that they are the most INSANE humans. They are mainly doing this so that everyone should ignore them and give them time to prepeare for the master stroke. They play the real big games , which rarely a few can understand.

Then again we have those humans, who lie on the boundry of SANITY and INSANITY. Those who are in love (Netaley). They have the right spirits, motivation, objectives even ready to question the authorities for rules which they think are obscure, this makes them SANE but love itself is INSANITY.

Want to watch Dhoom 2

I desperately want to watch Dhoom2 today, however i am not sure whether i will get the tickets or not. Any ways i will be going there tonight to try out my luck or will book the tickets for the next available show.
