Big Brother and Racism

That show rather the euphoria that followed was real fun to follow. I feel Jade was just a plain ignorant idot, who used some sick tricks to prove her superiority. Calling that stupidity , racism some times makes me wonder. But the furor it generated tells us that there are certain reasons.

To start with India, racism is not new. Its basically part of the life style for indians. religon, caste, region, color and creed, there are so many parameters that indians use actively to seperate each other. But there main objection was the way shilpa shetty treated by jade and the reaction from UK media had a effect. Besides that most of the protest was political gimmick. There are many foreign tourist abused by idot indians like jade using derogatory language, without any reaction from any one.

Asians in UK, also reacted wildly .... this is one thing that makes me think that there is some kind of active discrimination / racism exists in UK.

Brits also reacted to this row wildly, may be because they felt that there exists a problem that they thought they have solved long back.

Any way jade is evicted good for her. SHe must start meditating for her own good.

Big Brother ! Shilpa Shetty

A lot of talk about racism now a days going on regarding the comments made by some ppl in uk reality show big brother.
i guess these statement should not me taken as racist but rather the way loosers/ Idots try to prove there superiority. But there is a real public outcry ...... may be there exists a level of racism in UK, that made brit asians to react strongly. There is a good percentage of brits condeming this episode. with both goverments making statement, I think we have a interesting time ahead.

Gandhigiri V2.1

Violence for any reason some how becoming a trade mark for indian democracy. We are having new age indian politicians with there new philosophies to secure vote. Its amazing how some parties win elections consistently without ever talking about something that is constructive. It seems to me that you have to divide people based on region, religon or any such emotional issues to win election in india.

Again a statue was disfigured in one part of india by may be hoolingans, anti social elements or people with some real bad motives. What ever may be the motivation , the statue was disfigured. A wide spread protest sarted with rioting. Sometimes I wonder what message exactly these rioters want to convey. I feel except there leaders interviewed by all these junk channels and some cheap publicity for the rioters leader nothing fruitful really comes out of this excercise of setting fire to shops and vehicles of those who are no way realted to disfigurement episode.

Politicians now a days have developed new version of gandhigiri where you will have hartal but will ask everyone to stop doing what they are doing forcefully. They have replace 'Ahinsa' with 'HINSA' in bold letters.

There is something very basic that seems to be flawed here, either the society or may be political philosophy. The problem demands immediate identification and correction.
