A lot of things happened this week in cricket ,
- Brian Charles Lara became the fifth Batsman in the history of ODI cricket to cross the landmark of 10,000 international runs. Other four are Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, sanath Jaysurya and Inzamam-ul-haq.
- Shaun Pollock took his test wicket tally past 400.
- Adam Gilchirst missed chance to become the fastest century maker in tests by 1 ball. Gilly scored century in 57 balls against England in the third test, 2nd innings. Record holder is great VIV Richards, who scored century in 56 balls.
